One of my favorite cities in the world! The city that never sleeps has so much to see, do, eat, drink and explore that a few days in this city just is not enough. If you have never been, New York City is a must visit for everyone. This was my third visit to the Big Apple and definitely won’t be my last.

This was a short 4 day trip, but we did manage to catch our first Broadway show – Chicago staring Cuba Gooding Jr. at the Ambassador Theatre.

The cast of Chicago the Musical

The show was fun, fast paced and entertaining. To save a few $$$ we managed to get a good deal on tickets at the TKTS booth. Tip, go to the South Street Seaport (corner of Front and John Streets) location to avoid the long lines at the Time Square location.

Speaking of Time Square, no visit to New York is complete without fighting the crowds at this major tourist destination in Midtown Manhattan. The perfect place to take a selfie or two.

In addition to all the regular touristy things you must do, I recommend having a the most delicious cocktail at the Dead Rabbit, watching pigeons eat a pickle while enjoying a $5 donut, or eating NYC’s best lobster roll at Luke’s Lobster in the Upper West Side.
